Sheriff's carry out Lakeside Anti-Truancy SweepSeptember 22, 2009 The sweep went from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. to target minors loitering within the boundaries of the Grossmont Union School District (El Capitan High School in Lakeside), according to Sheriff's Deputy Edward Ward. "A truancy detail early in the semester will discourage daytime loitering throughout the school year," Ward said.
